Construction 2050 Alliance

Officially launched on the 17th of June 2020, the Construction 2050 Alliance gathers 46 European Associations in the Construction sector among which UNIEP and aims to promote the general collective interests of the whole sector. Its work programme for next 2-year period from July 2020 to July 2022, will mainly focus on the contribution of the built-environment to the EU Green Deal (energy efficiency, circular economy, zero emissions); the human factor in construction (training, re-skilling and ups-killing of the construction labour force); the relaunching of the Construction strategy and the EU Data strategy (as part of the goal to make Europe “fit for the Digital age”).
